Jobseekers this past year has been one of the most difficult years for many.  Please know you are not alone! It has been a very tough year for many qualified people. 15 years of experience with one company, excellent reference checks and still no job! It is not YOU - it's the market! Sales are declining, jobs are being eliminated, and businesses are shutting down. Again, it has been a tough year - yet we think the worse is over and we are starting to see more activities in the job market. Stay active and know you will find a job soon!

Our colleague, Mary Smith - Senior Recruiter with Search Consultants said that she has never seen so many qualified, degreed professionals out of work for such a long time. Mary works with professionals in the electrical industry and her firm in the past year has experienced 200% increase in resume submission and 80% decrease in job orders.

The good news is that the market is showing signs of recovery and hopefully more jobs will become available in the next few months.
